The God Who Strengthens Us: A Call to Remember, Abide & Rise - by Monica Ezue

Jul 07, 2025

In this season, God is calling His daughters to do three things: remember who He is, remember who we are, and reset our expectations of Him.

1. Remember Who God Is

We often begin Isaiah 40 with “A voice of one crying in the wilderness…” but the Lord instructed me to look deeper—into His very nature. In verses 10–15, we are reminded that God’s greatness is beyond comprehension:

“Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand… or weighed the mountains in scales?”

These rhetorical questions shake us into remembrance: God is sovereign. He is mighty. He is the Creator of all. No one has instructed Him. No one can compare to Him. He is matchless.

We worship a God who is not only vast but intimate. He gathers His lambs, carries them in His bosom, and leads with gentleness. This is the God we wait on. Before you can receive strength in waiting, you must know who you are waiting on.

2. Remember Who You Are in Christ

From Isaiah, we move to Ephesians 2. A beautiful reminder that:

"Even when we were dead in our sins, God made us alive in Christ. By grace, we have been saved, and He raised us up to sit in heavenly places."

You are no longer a stranger to God. You are His workmanship. You are seated in heavenly places, not begging for crumbs but praying from authority. Your position is secure in Christ.

Too many of us pray as if we are far away, as if God is reluctant to hear us. But He calls us to pray from daughtership—from closeness, confidence, and spiritual alignment.

3. Reset Your Expectations of God

Matthew 6 tells us not to worry—about food, clothes, or tomorrow. Why? Because your Heavenly Father already knows what you need.

We must stop placing God on the same standard as man. Man fails. God doesn’t. Have you stopped expecting from God because of delays or disappointment? Have you become weary in waiting?

“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

This is the strategy: one day at a time, brick by brick.

God is tying up loose ends. If old wounds are resurfacing, it’s not regression—it’s divine completion. He is pulling things up from the root to set you free for good. This time, it’s not a bandage. It’s healing.

A Final Call: Will You Answer?

God is asking: Are you ready to walk in your call? Are you ready to release the rivers of living water inside of you?

As women called, chosen, and marked, this is not just a prayer group. This is a mantle-bearing space. And yes, it will stretch you.

You were created for this. Not to sit silently. Not to shrink. But to rise boldly—healed, holy, and whole.

Let the living water flow. Out of your belly. For your generation. For your calling. For His glory.
