God Who Sees: A Call to Worship, Obedience, and Alignment

Aug 19, 2025

Last week on our Alethea prayer call, the Spirit of God reminded us of something simple yet profound: He is present, He sees us, and He calls us deeper.

From the opening moments, a powerful unity prevailed as we lingered in praise and worship. For many of us, this was stretching—but a beautiful kind of stretching. God is training us not just to show up, but to be present in His presence.

The Power of Showing Up

There is something intentional about waking up early, kneeling before Him, and dedicating our first hour to prayer. This act of showing up is not for others to see—it is an accountability to God. When we practice obedience in the “small” things—like rising early, withholding from distractions, or listening when He prompts—we are cultivating the soil of our souls for greater obedience in the weightier matters of life.

The Prosperity of the Soul

We reflected on 3 John 1:2:
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”

Prosperity is not only about external blessings—it begins in the soul. When we pray for souls, we are not just praying for others to come into the kingdom; we are praying that our own mind, will, and emotions align with His will. Salvation of the soul is not just an eternal reality; it is a present process of surrender.

The God Who Sees

For many daughters on the call, the Lord reminded us that He is El Roi—the God who sees. Just as Hagar encountered Him in the wilderness, the Lord is demonstrating His intentionality toward His daughters in this season. You are not overlooked. You are a sign for your family, for your community, even when it feels uncomfortable or misunderstood.

Like Ezekiel, Jeremiah, and Isaiah, you may carry words or assignments that others resist. Yet God is affirming: You are seen. You are chosen. You are His mouthpiece for this season.

Breaking Cycles, Stepping into the Shift

A prophetic word was released about breaking free from generational cycles. Some of us are battling patterns not of our own making, but God is calling us into war—with obedience as our greatest weapon.

There is a shift in the Spirit. To step into it, we must lay aside disobedience, delay, and double-mindedness. The choices we make in this season carry generational weight. As Scripture reminds us, “To obey is better than sacrifice” (1 Samuel 15:22). Rebellion is costly—but obedience births legacy.

Praise that is Personal

Another reminder came about the way we praise. God is not seeking rehearsed or second-hand worship. He desires that we call Him by the names we have personally known Him as:

  • The God who carried me.

  • The God who healed me.

  • The God who sustained me.

  • The God who never left me.

When we worship from revelation, not repetition, our praise becomes powerful. It shifts from performance to intimacy.

He Is “I Am”

We were also reminded of the present tense of God’s name: I Am. He is not “I was” or “I will be.” He is here, right now, in every circumstance. His presence is not limited to our past breakthroughs or future hopes—He is the God of this very moment.

A Call to Reflection and Repentance

Finally, a sobering yet freeing word came forth about rebellion. Many of us are waiting on promises, but in the waiting, we’ve been tempted to build our own “monuments”—brands, relationships, or plans outside of His will. Yet the Lord is calling us back.

This is a season to:

  • Reflect: Have I erected anything outside of His instruction?

  • Repent: Lord, forgive me where I have presumed or resisted Your way.

  • Realign: Obedience is my worship.

God is not cruel in His correction—He is merciful. He is warning us because the decisions of this season shape the next decade.

Be Found Faithful

Sisters, the Lord is raising up women who will be discerning of the times and seasons, who will carry His desires on earth as vessels of His glory. Even if you’ve faced rejection, confusion, or delay—He has not forgotten you.

You are the daughter He sees.
You are the voice He desires to use.
You are the sign for this time.

And He is saying: Return to Me. Worship Me with authenticity. Obey Me fully. Trust Me deeply. For I Am with you.

Reflection Questions for You:

  1. Where is God calling you to greater intentionality in worship and prayer?

  2. Are there areas where disobedience or presumption has taken root? What does repentance look like for you today?

  3. What personal name has God revealed Himself to you as in this season?

💌 Sisters, may we be found faithful, tender to His Spirit, and bold in obedience. For He is I Am—present, powerful, and with us.
